Pundits have suggested that Russia has run out of steam. I recently watched this interesting video from presidential aid Arkady Dvorkovich, where he highlights that Russia has three key competitive advantages. The first longstanding one is Russia’s natural resources and the size of the country’s economy. Secondly, Russia is probably the biggest remaining European country to be invested in. And finally, but most importantly, are Russia’s vast intellectual resources. There are challenges as highlighted in the video but read the article by Robin Geffen who remains convinced that Russia remains a good diversified investment.
